Hey all, a silly question about popcorn. Are the buckets sold at the stands refillable or do you have to purchase new ones? Do they refill old ones if they do this or just current one? Any idea on how much the prices are too?

My son loves the stuff. Leaving in four days:) Yeah!

Its $6, and they are not refillable. Or if you are not interested in the bucket you can ask for a small "scoop". Its a small cardboard box. I dont recall the price, I want to say $3. The lid on the bucket is nice to have- so that you can carry it around and not worry about spilling. The boxes dont have that.

We use the buckets for popcorn at home. One bag of microwave popcorn fills two bucket. I wash mine in the dishwasher, and they come out fine. I'm sure they fade a little each time, but they don't melt or warp.

Incorrect

Scoops are $3.50
Buckets are $5.50

No refills mainly because the seller doesnt get charged by popcorn, but by buckets...

all drinks are $2.75
Churros are $3.00

what else you need to know?

Thanks for the info....I can't think of anything other info that I'm looking for at the moment. dd

Maybe there are no refills because of health department codes - its like not being able to re-use a plate at a buffet

Thanks for the info...I think we'll have facilities to actually pop our own. That way in theory I know what we're eating. You know how kids are though...they'll want something off of a cart. Any suggestions? I know there are some fruit carts in some locations.

I wouldn't worry too much about it being unhealthy. I figure for a week long trip it won't hurt my kids much to eat more junk food than usual, since we eat quite healthy the rest of the time. :thumbsup2 I just try to have some healthier options to bring in the parks also such as string cheese, raisins, granola bars, or cereal bars.

naw, its mainly because disneyland will lose money that way... i know, trust me... cuz i sell it :P because ppl wonder why they buy a sovenior cup with no refill. we usually tell them to buy a regular scoop and put it in the sovenior cup.

hmm... nothing much on carts... Precup lemonades?
THere is... Cotton Candy, Precup lemonades, churros, popcorn, turkey leg, Chimichonga, mcdonald fries, pretzels... maybe pretzels?

when we make it, the popcorn is pretty much being Boiled in oil... makes me feel sick watching it spin inside... when you look in, it looks like a stew brewing... you dont really see the popcorn...

:) Isn't that always the case with stuff that tastes good:)
I'm sure we'll be hitting up the cotton candy and lemonade for my husband and myself:)

dont forget ice cream and the tinkerbell twist! :P

and for you adults, coffeee!!!! and hot chocolate for the kids!!!

At DL there are fruit carts on Main Street in front of where the lockers are, in Adventureland by Jungle Cruise, and in Bear country across from splash mountain. Then there are a bunch of carts that sell Candy and other stuff, plus the popcorn, churo, ice cream and all that stuff, you definately can't go hungry just broke.

popcorn:: My children cannot get enough of those popcorn buckets at home.

Out of all the things we buy, that is the thing that they play with most.

They play with them in the bath. I have put them away only to find them disassembled and the handles used for guns. Who knew?
