Could someone share an opinion? Their stuff looks like really nice but some of it is on the expensive side. Is it worth it? How's the quality? Thanks!!

I have bought 2 packable skirts from them and I LOVE them. So my experience was well worth the price.

Only have bathing suits from them, but love them. Good quality.

Very happy with Athleta. I've purchased a few sports bras as well as some yoga pants, and they've definitely stood the test of time. They are owned by the Gap, so often a coupon or sale will be applicable--just sign up for the newsletter email.

I love their stuff and have several friends who love it as well. Expensive, but worth it.

If anything, the catalogs are inspirational because the models are healthy, fit and not super skinny. I have one pair of workout pants that I absolutely love. They shape your body and keep "everything" in place so there's a lot less jiggling as you work out :goodvibes

I have had good, bad and weird experiences w/ Athleta. I bought several items over a year ago, and hated the way everything fit, and had to send it all back. Which I had to pay for. So, not too excited about that part of it, since you can't return it to a Gap co. store. Recently I bought several things w/a 30% discount and free shipping, which is why I finally bought again. I bought 3 different bottoms, and wound up needing 3 different sizes. I would say I usually wear a size . I needed a size 0, 2, and a 4. I had call and do exchanges, it was kind of a drag, but their CS was friendly. Their sizing is definitely not consistent.

I bought a bathing suit the first time around, and the fit was so terrible. That was just my experience, but a bathing suit is hard to buy online.

I have not paid full/regular price for anything I've bought there, and I probably never will. I did get a Gap credit card over a year ago so I could take advantage of more of the free shipping offers that are given to CC holders. I have asked them (via customer comments) to offer free return shipping, since we can't see the clothing until we order it, but nothing has come of it yet. I have heard that they are interested in opening Athleta stores, but I'm not holding my breath on that happening where I live any time soon. Have you tried Lucy activewear? I really like their bottoms. Good luck!

I am pooh sized and love a dress I bought there. Got lots of compliments and it was very comfortable and well made. Pricey but should get my money's worth for this one. :)

I buy DD13's bathing suits there (better support on top and better coverage all round). We have had very good luck - definitely very good quality!:)

I like the little bit I've ordered from there. I especially like that I can shop online at Banana Republic or Gap at the same time and it all goes in one shopping basket/one flat rate shipping charge.

If you like the style, look at Title 9 too. :)

Thank you all for your advice & opinions. I have spot some items that are on sale and I am going to give it a try. :thumbsup2

I also appreciated that. I think more brands should go for this "look"

That's exactly what I heard from a friend. She said sometimes she goes up one size, sometimes one size down.

I LOVE their stuff. I'm an athletically built girl and it's nice to find a company that caters to my body type!
I agree though that sizing is all over the place. I'm a 6 and need a 4 in most of their stuff.

If I remember correctly they have reviews on each product page to give the feedback from purchasers on sizing...true to size, order a size larger...that type of thing.
