What's the REAL DEAL with "On-Site" perks??

I am totally confused:

It was my assumption (or belief) that, besides the 'luxury' of WDW transportation, ME, and EE, only WDW guests enjoyed the priviledge of early ADR's (180 days out).....is this no longer true??

Nope, anybody can make ADRs 180 days out. But, resort guests can make ADRs 10 days earlier now so they still have a jump on the rest of the crowd.

It changed a while back. I don't remember exactly when it happened. Disney resort guests can make ADR's 180 + 10 days ahead. So if you call 180 days in advance from the very first day of your trip to make ADR's, you can then make ADR's for 10 consecutive days instead of calling back every morning. Hope this is clear.

It's been along that On-sight guess can book the 180 +10 for their entire trip with one call. So I tink thats where the 10 days come from.

As far as On-sight V Off-sight as far as Perks . It just depends on what you like. I have done both for different reasons but would aways stay on-sight as long as we have that option now.

Even a week in the summer the refillable mug alone saved a bunch of money before we went with the DVC and do a grocery run.

You also get Magical Express and EMH. I like Magical Express, once I check my bags at my airport I don't have to deal with them until we leave. They take your luggage to your room later in the day, and it is still free. They have airport check-in ( if you are wuth a participating air line). We always check our bags and again they take them to the airport. I don't have to see bag until I get home. I do store my carry-on. I don't know if this is available at off site resorts. The Extra Magic hours are nice, it is only available to Disney resort guests and you can do the evening or morning hours.
