Four years ago we paid $220 for a room at the Windham Palace....that's way before I found the DIS!!! :bounce:

It was a very nice room and hotel but I've had better for less since then!;)

I'm not absolutely sure (as I've said, it's been a looong year..), but I think the most we've paid was for AKL concierge. I think it was over $300 per night with tax. For me that is a great sum. Would I do it again, or was it worth it??? You betcha!! That was the most wonderful resort stay that we have ever experienced! It was heavenly...:) :) :)

I paid $330+ tax for CR tower last year for 1 night before we moved over to AKL with our AP discount. There were no discounts at all for our travel dates except for AKL.

We have a package butour amount comes out to be about $259 and we are staying YC conceirge. This is way more than I usually pay for a hotel but we dont get to Disney that often (plus mil splitting the room cost with us:p ). We go in Spet and I cant wait to get there. Seems like with some of great discounts you can find its not all that painful to pay the much for a room.

Back in Dec/Jan of 1999/2000...we paid almost $800 per night for the RPC at the Grand Floridian Resort. It was booked 10 years prior and paid in full (as was required) almost 2 years prior due to the Millenium celebrations.
Was it worth it?? No! But in all honesty...I don't think ANYTHING can live up to 10 years of high expectations!!:D

Way too much! For the actual millenium (2001) we stayed in one of the Treehouses for around 550/night. (We paid a little over 230/night a few months prior) And to make it even worse, it was the worst trip we've ever taken! Every one of my family took turns getting sick (except me). The topper was on New Years Eve when the temperature never got too far above freezing. I'd very carefully made PS for meals including the character breakfast at the Garden Grill, and dinner at Mexico. We traipsed around the park with the rest of the hoardes of people all day, trying to keep warm, until my son announced AT 10:30 p.m. that he was just too sick to stay. I watched the Pleasure Island fireworks barely showing above the trees while shivering out on the deck all by myself. And yes, I indulged in some "sorry for myself sniffles"!:(
Fortunately, it's been uphill since then.

$199.00 a night including tax at the Poly. This was for my stays in 5/01 and 10/01. Met up each time with a friend and her child. So luckily my cost was only half :)

I dream of the day I can afford a concerige room at one of the delux resorts. I like the lap of luxary :)

At Disney, the most I have personally paid was $84 at CBR- not too bad! We are paying $119 in 13 days at AKL!

At Disney, around $300 for GF concierge when it was in Conch during the rehab.

Otherwise...the Mirror Lake Inn in Lake Placid, we pay about $400 per night for "our" room, which is an oversized mini-suite with a gas fireplace, great view, and upgraded amenities. There is no place on earth more divine, romantic, sublime, and the spa is simply to die for.

Next summer I'm already booked into the Jasper Park Lodge and Rimrock, both are running me about $400-450 per night USD.

We have paid $538 a night at Okw for a 2 bedroom. It was wonderful and worth it. However it ended up costing us a lot more seeing we bought into the DVC. But definatly worht ever penny.

To ducklite,
I too have stayed in the Mirror Lake Inn. I Love going there. My DH takes me there every year to go skiing and shopping as it is only 2 hrs from our home. We get a split level suite w/ kitchen dinning room, living room (all have fireplaces), The master bedroom is on the top floor over looking the lake it is truely beautiful and worth ever penny to me! Or it was untill we had our DD now I wouldn't imagine paying that much for a room.
Oh we paid $975 a night w/ a 2 night Min.

Before discovering these boards we paid $340 for a lagoon view at the Poly during value season....duh!:o

I'm happy to report we did much better this year with our waterview room at BWI thanks to the DIS boards!:D

We paid rack rate in June 2000 for our honeymoon at the GF (Garden view)...worth every penny! :)

This was pre-Dis so I really did not fully understand the different "seasons" and had no clue about codes, etc. A whopping $435.00 per night for a 1 bedroom at BWV and yes it was worth every penny! It has ruined me for staying in any other area although we don't mind the Inn side at all and it is much easier to get a discount on the Inn side of Boardwalk!

We paid $340/night plus tax in 1995. Stayed 4 nights at the CT in a Tower Club room with a MK view.....worth every single penny we paid too.....was the first time we ever stayed at a Deluxe and we felt like royalty!

Our next trip...$335 a night at CR tower room.

***codes codes where are you codes??????****

$560 per night CR Tower Club over New Year's! (Then moved to our $276 per night GF Lagoon View after the holiday!)

Other than that, $386 per night Poly Lagoon Concierge a couple summers ago. It was back when the MKC had 20% discounts. :)

We are paying $200 night for GF this fall. We have an airline discount so I thought that was good. But I have a terrible feeling we are going to be completely spoiled and not want to stay anywhere else!

We just paid $331 per night for Polynesian garden concierge a couple of months ago. This is the most I spent for a hotel room anywhere we have ever traveled and we have stayed in many nice places including concierge on Waikiki beach.

but it was our Honeymoon!!!:D
