What's the longest you've ever stayed?

If you are fortunate to have a month, I think that sounds fantastic to spend it in Orlando especially at that rental rate.

Then you could do things so leisurely and have so much time.

We did 12 days all on property a few years ago when early December was still relatively empty in the parks. For us (being that we didn't have kiddos back then) it was a little too long. The last day or two we basically just didn't care where we went since we'd already done everything that we wanted multiple times.

Now that we have kids (and now that the crowds are always there), I think that we could probably do 2 weeks with a couple of down time days in the middle of the trip. If we added in Universal we could definitely do it.

We've only done a week in the past. We're doing 13 nights this coming Sept. I'm really excited! But it will be interesting to see how we do. My mom thinks that it is plenty but when I've been making the schedule, I'm still having to cut stuff out that I'd like to do! I think it would be nice to be ready to go home instead of being really upset that the vacation is over. Not ready because you've been bored or overwhelmed - just that you've enjoyed enough and are ready to see home.

A month would be fun - be completely relaxing and see other stuff in the area. You'd want a rental house for sure so that you could make some food. Eating out that much would really be hard on the pocketbook not to mention that I do get tired of eating out all the time. I like simple meals.

Unfortunately, this is all moot since I just don't have that much vacation and won't for years. (If I stay with the company, which in this day and age will probably not happen.)

Our longest trip ever is coming up next week. We will be on property for 15 nights. Was supposed to be for 10 nights, but then I signed my DD up for the Disney Soccer Academy which added an additional 5 nights to our trip.

My job gets antsy if I am gone too long in a row. Things tend to go wrong when I am away.

Longest was 14 days - 4 in the park + 7 day cruise + 3 in the park.

Longest in the park by itself - 8 days solo after I got divorced.

7 days is the longest for us. Our upcoming trip will be our first with a kid, and it'll only be 5 days this time. I would definitely love to do a longer vacation (2 weeks-ish), but an entire month seems like a really long time. I don't know that I could do it, even if we could afford it.

Our last trip was 10 days long. The longest we had ever stayed. Enough for us as we started to get homesick. But agree 100% with PPs that it is so relaxing to have all that time. It's such a good feeling to look at a ridiculous wait time for an attraction and say "Eh. We'll see it tomorrow."

I say 'go for it.' Our longest has been 18 nights, we have done this 3 times, once at Dixie landings for our honeymoon and twice with Ds at the Poly then the Yacht club the following year. We are going to Orlando for 26 nights this time, 11 nights offsite and 15 nights at AKL. I can tell you once we have done it if its too long.

Ours was 10 days (including flight in/out) all at WDW. Previously it was 7, and I thought we could stay forever. After 10, I was pretty much ready to go home. It probably didn't help we weren't too fond of our resort, but we just were a bit tired of the hustle/bustle. If we stayed longer, I'm sure we would sandwich in a day or two of resort/pool time.

10 days is the longest we've stayed but it still wasn't long enough.

I have a month there planned for as soon as this lottery thing pans out.

We are doing three months, Jan. 1, 2017 to Apr.1. We are staying in our Motorhome in Kissimmee. Looking forward to a massive dose of WDW. Spending December and April at the beach. Five months in Fla.

8 days... want to stay longer sometime but its hard to get away for much longer than 1 week.

15 nights at ASMO in Oct 2000 during F&W with DH - really enjoyed being there that long, did everything we ever wanted at more relaxed pace - that's a trip we'll always remember as our "best"

Longest trip was this spring, we stayed 28 days at WDW (BWV & VGF) and 5 days at Universal (Portofino Bay). Last fall we did 26 days WDW (BWV and POLY) and 5 days at Universal.

I do like these long trips as it makes me completely forget about home and work.

33 days? Amazing!!! :thumbsup2

Not only would I forget about home and work with that length of trip, I would probably forget my address and occupation too! :rotfl:
