What's the first thing...

Last time we headed straight for Space Mountain, and I bet we do the same thing this time!

First thing...Check on our Disney brick, dust if off and take a picture...then straight on to Main Street USA...We're at DISNEYLAND!

Skip from the Security Tents into the Esplanade and find our line.

DL: Peter Pan First! Peter Pan ALWAYS First!!

DCA: FP and ride Soarin at 9:30 before rope drop at 10.

Well, we have different things we do. On the walk or ride there we discuss what we want to do first or what is a must-do for that trip. We hold hands walking thru the esplanade and then we stop to read the sign, then we hold hands again and walk thru. I think we tend to annoy people as there are 4 of us and we usually stand in a line holding hands while reading the sign. LOL Then we walk in, cross to the hub in the center, look around for a moment, take a deep breath and start walking. Depending on the season we get FP for Indy, Splash or Space first and then we just start walking and enjoy ourselves.

It seems like I'm famous for making a run to a cart or store that sells those Mickey shaped lolipops. (The ones that come in a 5 pack) They keep kids happy and busy in the ride lines.

For me, it is straight to New Orleans Square, to visit the pirates, then either I go on that ride again, or then visit the mansion, ride HM again, or visit the pirates again, anyway to that effect, then I feel like I am at DL.
I have to remind myself that there is the rest of the park, he!he! so at some point, I will venture off to the Indy ride, and jungle boat cruise, I love those rides too, and I also very much love the Tiki Room, have ever since I was a kid, same thing for the pirates and the HM.

I guess we've started a bit of a tradition on the last two trips with pics in front of the train station first, the FL.

I like doing Fantasyland the first day because it is always a half day with the drive there being in the morning. That way we can knock out nearly all of the rides there for the kiddo(s). If Dumbo and PP are too long we skip it and come back one of the mornings we're there. I like doing it this way because we can come back and hit tea cups for a second...or third time later in the trip!

hmmmm....we don't have a "must do first". DDIL likes to ride Alice in Wonderland first. Although, she and DS may have done something else first the last time they were there.

On the first day we usually get there right around 11 or 11:30am (depending on traffic from the airport and check ins at the hotel) so our first stop is the corn dog cart at the end of main street, we enjoy a quick lunch and just walk around.

Depending on the crowd levels we try for HM or POTC. We just kind of enjoy being there and don't really have a plan on the first day.

This trip though we will go to DLC and ride ToT first, DS is tall enough and more important brave enough to try it this trip.

we take a picture at the friends statue and then head to Space Mountain...but if we are doing MM we try to hit up Pirates as one of our 1st rides...only been to DCA once and did not make it there very early...

I don't really know why (maybe because this is what I did on my very first trip) , but every time I go into the park; I head directly to Tomorrowlandand ride either Star Tours or Astro Orbiters.

1. *sniff,sniff* get out my box of tissues to wipe away the pixie dust induced tears..
2. steamroll over everyone with our stroller to get up Main Street
(KIDDING! No, really, just kidding! My DH is always kidding about my zealous trot to the castle!)
