What's the first thing...

ok when you get to DL or DCA, what is the first thing that you do? What is the one thing that you do that makes this a trip to Disney for you?

always get a family photo bbelow the train station and then straight to fantasyland. kids first

I would have to say IASM but since it was closed on our trip, it made me a little sad to not have that experince.

It seems to me that my family usually heads to Star Tours or Pirates of the Caribbean first. I don't know though, I'm usually just so excited to be at Disneyland that I don't care what happens first!

Picture below the train station and then either Dumbo or the Carousel, depending on which one my girls want to do first.

In DCA, it's a picture in front of the bridge (we might have to buy it this time since the bridge is going) and then to the Hollywood Backlot area. If there are characters out, we meet them, otherwise it's Monster's Inc.

It all depends on my mood that morning, but usually we start out with Buzz! I've spent so much time in Fantasyland that I've been skipping it lately, although I will take DS on Snow White if the line is short, and we almost always ride Casey Jr.

I love Peter Pan, but DS does NOT do well in that line.

Lately we have been stopping by the bakery to get a coconut macaroon to munch on while walking to TL to get FP for SM.

We do something different almost each trip. This trip, first thing we will do in DCA is go straight to Toy Story Mania. In DL, I have already promised my son we will go on Dumbo first.

We ride on the Astro Orbiters. It was our first ride on our first trip.. so now it is our first ride on every trip!

We always head to DCA first, grab fast Passes for Soarin' and then head to a Bugs Land to watch the 3D show. We find that show is a great start to all the Disney magic we will be seeing on our trip.

We always go to the Market House and get 2 coffees and 2 cookies. Gotta caffine and sugar up ! Then we go strait to HM.

I love to start out my day with Pirates. I really feel like I'm at Disneyland after that.

Checking into the Desert Inn and Suites right a cross from the DL Entrance!

Then running to the window to see we can see of DL!!

Then go to the Door to see what we can see in DCA!!

I get so Happy Now I'm at Disneyland!!

Our first morning in DL, we have to ride Peter Pan before we do anything else.

Always POTC first, followed by Haunted Mansion.

We always hit Pirates first, since DD uses a wheelchair and that line gets impossibly long later in the day. We grab Indy fast passes on the way.
