Whats the FIRST thing your going to do once you get to WDW?

You know, Dh and I don't drink ourselves normally but I'm thinking you have something going there with that idea! Especially since well be coming off a 21 hour drive!!!!

Check into POFQ and head to Epcot for the evening.

We will get to the Poly after a 17-18 hr. drive around 7-8 PM, So I am planning on getting my rooms...and then getting something to eat from Capt. cooks and sitting on the beach with our dinner and watching EWP and wishes!

This is an easy question. The first thing we do is check into the hotel. But I think that is the case with most everyone. After checking in though the very first and most important thing we do is get in our room and crank the AC temp to the highest possible setting.

Our first day in Orlando on 7/9 we arrive about 1:30. We're planning on a late lunch at Sweet Tomatoes, and then hitting the Belz outlets. We will also visit Publix for snack food (can't get pimento cheese here in CT LOL) Our first night is at Howard Johnsons before we move into BWV on Sunday. Since we have APs we will visit either MGM or Epcot and catch either Fantasmic/Illuminations.

DW & I head over to Epcot WS and grab a platter of nachos, 2 "cervesas", and sit out back with our feet propped up watching the lake and just relishing the fact that we are HOME!

Not gonna be there again until September but if I were......I'd go eat some yummy food in Epcot! Dinner then ice cream or a drink while watching Illuminations!

We will arrive aound 3pm after our 6-7 hour car ride. DH and I will be checking in at YC for the first time ever! I'm sure once we get to the room, we will crack open the wine and have a glass (it is our first anniversary after all) Then we will probably go explore our new digs, check out SAB and generally walk around the grounds with dreamy heads and goofy smiles just like anytime we first arrive at WDW! After that I'm sure we will make our way to EPCOT and then MK for EMHs...only one week to go!

Chicago526 - Congrats on your upcoming wedding and honeymoon at the World! How is Elgin anyway? I grew up in the Dundee/C'Ville area and my sister and her family now live in Elgin as well! Hope your enjoying spring weather!

I also grew up in the dundee/c'ville area! My parents grew up in C'Ville as well! I now live in Huntley!

ALSO---
Exactly one week from today, we will be checking in to ASMo for our first on site stay!!!!! After check in, we are headed to a park, possibly swim, or go resort touring! At 5:00 we have our Chef Mickey's dinner, then after Chef Mickey's, we will head over to MGM to catch Fantasmic so we don't have to worry about that on Sunday when we spend the whole day there!!!

*sighs* One week to go!

We'll be meeting up with the rest of our group at the resort, explore the resort a little. Hop on the bus to DTD and walk around some, have dinner and then head over to play some putt-putt. Explore some of the other resorts (to pick where we'll stay next trip), maybe watch Wishes from a distance... then back to the resort for some much needed R&R before heading to MK the next morning.

After we're settled in, we'll probably head over to DTD for some shopping & dinner...then come back to our resort to go swimming. We may sneak over to Winter Summerland sometime as well since we get to Orlando in the early afternoon.

Pool!After the kids have been in the van for the 8 hr. trip they need that. The off to DTD.I hope it is warm enough to do this next time. We are going in Feb.

As soon as I get out of the car I'll probably embarass my girls by doing the happy dance because I am so excited to be at WDW,then we'll check in ,get settled in the room probably go to the food court at CBR then hop the bus to DTD and SHOP!!!!! Can only get better as the days go on!

Well, DF and I will be on our honeymoon!

We are arriving at 9am (We wanted an early start )..

I figure we'll try to check in (or at least drop off our carry-ons) then head on over to MK to walk down Main Street, see the Castle and grab some breakfast. I'm sure we'll be starving!!
