Fireworks is the best. If you are good enough.
- If you make Level 3 each time you'll get 150 credits.
- Level 5 gets you 300 credits instead.
- If you make over 200k points you'll get a bonus 300-375 credits (can't remember).
- If you make over 240k points (and don't come in first place!) you'll make a bonus 1000 credits.
- I think you get more at higher schores (280k?) but I don't know as my high score (so far!) is 258k.
Remember to not take first place or you only get a 300-375 bonus even if you make 240k. That's right if you get 1st place in the game you get fewer credits than if you get 2nd place. That's VMK math for you. Heh.
Also with Fireworks, you have the potential to win various prizes (pins, Maleficent Room) the first time you reach certain milestones, the best being the first time you crest 240k and not be in first place you win Firework Magic. You can also pick-up additional Firework magics with additional plays over 240k but I've not manage to figure the pattern. I know I got one after getting First place and over 240k (I think I'd taken 1st about 10 times, though not in a row, at that point).
Anywho Fireworks will get you lots of cash. If you're not so good at that, then Ghosts are your next bet because win or lose you can still get 5 credits per ghost you capture. I think an average player can get 20-30 ghosts per 2 round game, which means at least 100-150 credits.
- If you win any game you get a 40 credit bonus.
- Every 10 wins (not necessarily in a row) you get more than 40 credits. Sometimes it's 375 credits, sometimes 750. It seems to vary. I once got a 2000 credit bonus on a game I only caught 38 ghosts (so got 2190 credits that time).
- Even if you don't win, you'll get various bonuses just for coming back and catching more ghosts after so many games played.
[10/07/06 Update: I have learned for 100% sure through personal experience that after Fireworks magic is awarded the first time (when you reach 240k points and don't come in first) you get it again every 10 times (non-consecutive) you cross 240k and get 1st place and 240k and not get 1st place. I keep track so, for example, I know the next time I cross 240k and come in first I'll get a FW magic. Also three more games not in first and I'll get it.]
Pirates. The old pirates was easy - Level 3 victories got you 100 credits per game. Play by yourself and you were done in a couple of minutes, done and done, repeat as necessary. The new Pirates? Well, I haven't been able to figure out the VMK math on that one yet. But I can say you get nothing, or close to nothing if you lose. Sometimes you get negative credits (ie you lose the game and you lose credits) if you don't win. I'm not super good at the new Pirates so I'm afraid I will make it sound bad. People tell me you can make good credits here and I have been on some winning teams that have netting me a couple hundred credits a game, but still I have always made more at Fireworks or Ghosts.
Jungle Cruise. Except the first time I played, I've never made more than 20 credits here. cteddiesgirl on the previous page says you get 750 credits for making top ten. I'll take her word for it as I've never been.
Yeti Vision a great source for after hours credit earning (or even during the VMK day). Level 3 can be played in under a minute once you get it down to muscle memory (remember to double-click through the movies). Use the code to get 200 credits and a car that sells for 50 more credits. But remember, as someone else above mentioned, you have to leave 5-10 minutes between plays or you won't get a code.
Wow, look at the time! Did I talk that much? Sorry. The fingers they just keep moving. Anyway, don't forget to play your music for a profitable break every now and then (despite what the message says you can play a song every 15 minutes for 25 credits).
