What's the fastest booking room within DVC?

The DVC villas are a wing @ BC and have no BW views. From the lake you only see cash rooms.

Ah, well that makes up my mind about buying into BCV, thanks. Assuming a room can be gotten at 7 months, I see no incentive to book earlier for a better view, since there isn't a better view.

But you can't assume you will get a room at 7 months. BCV is one of the smaller DVC resorts and very popular. You'll have lots of competition at 7 months for the very limited space still available, especially if you travel during the last 3 months of the year (Food & Wine Festival time and the holidays). If you call right at 7 months, you will get lucky sometimes, but it's nothing to count on. Lots of DVC members bought add on contracts there just to book before the 7 month window opens.

Don't let me persuade you one way or the other, though I love the BWV for the location and the ability to book a Boardwalk view or pay less for a standard view. I call as soon as MS opens on the day my 11 month winodw opens so that I can book either BW view or SV. You pretty much have to do that. Most of the time, those who book at 7 months end up in the Pool/Garden category - nothing wrong with that, of course!

All of the DVC resorts have something special to love. It can be tough to pick.
