What's the fascination with Vin Diesel?

I know several girls at work say he's the hottest thing to hit the big screen since......since....they really couldn't name anyone in particular.

Anyway, they just can't get enough of this guy.

DH says he is the "James Bond" for a new generation.

I say whatever! He just doesn't do a thing for me. Maybe I'm just gettin' old!

Sing it, sister! I have zero interest in James Bond-y movies, but I might have to go see XXX (which is his new 007-y movie, *not* porn ) just to see him in it. The line in the preview where he says, in his magically delicious low voice, "The things I'm gonna do for my country," while half-naked and looking at an off-camera woman... Wow. Just wow.

(FYI for those who don't know what he looks like, he's MUCH better looking than that pic reflects.)

He's YUMMY.

Not so much in Boiler Room, but in Pitch Black, Fast & the Furious and now XXX... yum! He was in Saving Private Ryan, but I didn't notice him, I guess...

I think it's a combination of the exotic-but-not-really look, the body (oh my!), and that VOICE! Mmmmmmmmm. That, and he's not a 20-something "kid" (he's 35). He's just VERY attractive (read: HOT) in my book!

DH just asked if I was looking up pictures of my "big-nosed bald guy"...


Side note: he did the voice of the Iron Giant for the animated movie, too.
