What's the earliest you've ever gotten INTO your room after check-in?

We've gotten into an All Stars room at noon. Is that about the earliest we can expect? (That was after calling a few days ahead and PLEADING for early check-in. We drove all night and needed to get in the room to get a nap.)

We'll either be at the All Stars again or the Contemp this time.

We've stayed at POR in the past and checked in at noon as well. We've also stayed at ASMU and checked in at noon. We are leaving TOMORROW for CSR should be arriving just a little after noon are hoping to check in early as well. With all the posts I've read about rooms not being ready until after 3:00 I'm starting to wonder if we've just been lucky in the past???? What do you think--should we expect a wait?

It completely depends on if there is a room available. I've gotten into the All Stars at 8:00am, but that was a slow season (my guess is that they weren't more than 60% occupied), and I wasn't picky about the room except it had to be non-smoking. Generally I don't expect to get into a room anything before noon, and realistically before 3:00pm.

Calling ahead and pleading won't do any good if they don't have a room available. Check out time is 11:00am, and it's not like the housekeeper is waiting outside the door to service the room as the occupants are leaving. So if you arrive and the resort is full, all the pleading in the world isn't going to get you a room. If it's that important to you to have a room available as soon as you get there, book one for the night before and let them know you'll be arriving early the next morning for it. With the codes and discounts, it's not that much extra.

I've gotten into a room at 10:00 am before. At the Poly during early december when the crowds were the lowest. There was maybe 10 rooms filled on my floor the whole week. Very nice!

One year we got into the Poly around 11a.m. in January and this year we got into BWI around 2p.m. in Feb.

Last November we arrived at Contemporary at noon and were given an upgrade and a room immediately! It was great.....

The last four visits we had we stayed at WL. We always arrived before check in, usually by 12-30-1pm and got checked in right away. We always travel in Sept. or October and have asked for a first floor room. With the slow season and room request there seems never to be a problem. During our last stay we had to go back to the room for something around 10:30ish and the room has already been cleaned!

We were able to check into our room at ASMo back at the end of November at 9:00 am! We even got a super room in the Buzz Lightyear building overlooking the courtyard. :D

About a year ago a got a room in POLY about 10:30. About a year ago they changed the room procedure. They no longer pre-assign the rooms (for the most part). When you check-in you're assigned (if possible) a room that's available in the general area you prefer.

We got into the GF once at around noon, all we requested was first floor non-smoking. They offered us a fourth floor non-smoking if we wanted something ready then, so we took it. Really liked that room...

The earliest was 7:30 am at OKW for a studio. We stayed off-site our first night and checked in on the way to the MK. We were shocked! The latest was 5:00 pm at ... OKW :).

Your check-in time all depends on availability. I think you should be prepared to check in no earlier than the standard 4:00 pm to avoid disappointment.

We got into CSR at 8:30am when we arrived. Got our connecting rooms - great! Got to the rooms, bad news - they were smoking. We ended up keeping them but were sorry we did. That was the earliest I ever arrived, the rest of the times was after noon. We got into OKW once at 1:00pm, another time we had to wait until 4:00pm. I think we got into Dixie around 1:30 but had to wait until 3:00 at CBR. The worst was at BC, we arrived around 1:30-2:00, it wasn't ready. OK, so we went to the World Showcase for awhile. Came back around 4:00, still not ready. The cm went to the room personally to check it (it was on the 2nd floor close to the lobby), it wasn't even started, a large convention had just checked out. So she went into the back room to find us another room. At first she came back with a first floor, which we didn't want, we wanted a full balcony. So she looked again and got us a 5th floor over the entrance.

Every time we've gone we take a 7:00am flight so we get to CSR around 11 or 11:30 am and we've always gotten our room within minutes of checking in *knock on wood*

We stayed at the YC last October and we were able to check in at 7:30am. We were also given a room upgrade at the same time. We're checking into the WL on Christmas Eve and I seriously doubt that we'll be able to check in early. I think it just depends on how booked up the hotels are.

The earliest we have gotten into a room is 7:30 am at OKW. It was late August and they had 6 rooms to chose from. The only time our room wasn't ready was this last trip in March at BWV and it was ready by 1:30.

We usually stay offsite the first night and go first thing in the morning to check in. If the room isn't ready we head to the parks.

I got into the Grand Floridian at 9:00 even though we were not suppossed 2 be there until 12 we thought we should just see and it worked we got our room rite away. :earsgirl:

WL and POFQ 11:00am at both resorts on separate vacations.

I love WDW...{sigh}
