What's the difference?

Some days this week our forecast calls for just snow. Other days snow flurries. And still other days snow showers. What's the difference?

I've been told that it has something to do with how many inches you get, and how long it lasts.

I think flurries refers to a light snow, and snow showers refers to a wetter, slushier type snowfall.

I miss snow flurries!
