What's the difference between buying your tickets on-line in advance, buying them at the Disney Store in advance or buying them at the gate?

I know with the old tickets you got a price break by purchasing them in advance. In 2003 we bought our PH tickets on-line in advance & it was just a bit cheaper. We still had to activate them at the gate.

Is there any price difference between advance purchase and walk-up for the MYW tickets?

If I buy them at the Disney Store, are they ready to go or do they have to be activated at the gate?

Thanks.

Thanks for the info.

So I'll definitely purchase my tickets in advance.

I guess if I buy them at the local Disney Store I'll have to hang on to them (i.e. not lose them) for a month, whereas if I buy them on-line, I'll pick them up when I arrive.

Is this assumption correct?

Buying in advance from Disney would have saved us $30 over buying them at the gate. Ticketmania saved us $30 over Disney online.

Where does ticketmania get the tickets they sell? Do they have an agreement with Disney?

Ticketmania has the BEST prices for tickets.

Also, if you subscribe to the MouseSavers newsletter you sometimes get links to even better deals at Ticketmania.
