Okay...so I've never really read the threads concerning the Wonder, since we were on the Magic last time. Now I need to know -- What's the difference between the Wonder and the Magic??

I think I read that there's no formal dining on the 4 night. Is that true?

Hello from another Long Islander. The only real difference is that the Wonder takes 3 and 4 day cruises and the Magic does the 7 day cruises. Since the last drydock they have made some changes of locations of clubs and lounges, but they're pretty much identical...Mark

Thanks, Mark...so the Wonder has the same restaurants, theaters, etc. as the Magic? How about the shows at night? Obviously the entertainers are different, but are the "Disney" shows the same?

And most importantly...is there a Cove Cafe on the Wonder??!!

no character breakfasts, imagery around the ship is different, such as the characters hanging off the back painting, Mickey on the front is different, Ariel is in front if Triton's instead of Captain Fisherman Mickey in front of Lumiere's, stuff like that. Ports of course as well.

Wow..thanks! I never knew there were so many "little" differences between the two ships! :)

No Cove Cafe on the Wonder yet...maybe after drydock.

The Magic's interior is an Art Deco design and the Wonder is an Art Nouveu design. Learned that on the ship tour....

Also, the colors of the fabrics on the Disney Wonder tend to be slightly darker than those of the Disney Magic. Also the fancy dining room on the Wonder is Tritons and specializes in seafood, and the Magic is Lumiere's which is French cuisine. Also in front of Tritions there is a statue of Ariel and in front of Lumiere's there is a statue of Mickey. And in the main Lobby on the magic there is a dynamic custom made light fixture!!

---You should go on a guided tour of the ship...you learn very interesting facts!
