What's the difference?

What is the difference between (1) the St. John Trunk Bay Beach & Snorkel Tour and (2) the 5-Star St. John Snorkel & Beach Adventure. Snorkelins is what my kids really want to do, but I also want time to ride the tram. I've heard the National Park is a great place to snorkel. Do both of these excursions go there? We are going on the Eastern cruise in June and can hardly wait. I love these boards and everyone who comments on them!!

I believe the difference is the 5-Star excursion takes you by boat(we did this one in 2001) while the St. JohnBeach and Snorkal Tour takes you by ferry to St John and drives to Trunk Bay so there is the tour part. We really enjoyed the 5-Star so much we are doing it again next month. We were back to the ship by 12:30 and had lunch and still had time to go into town to shop.

How did you enjoy the snorkeling? What all did you see. Is the 5-star snorkeling at Truck Bay at the National Park as well?

It was the first time we had snorkaled, but we really enjoyed it. The excursion does go to Trunk Bay and it is so beautiful! Some people don't think you have enough time but for us it was plenty. I did't want to spend all day at a beach we wanted to see the town and do some shopping. I can't remember what we saw but there were alot of fish and lots of coral reefs. When I got tired I swam to the beach and relaxed in the sun. The boat ride was nice and some history and local landmarks are pointed out by the crew on the way .
