What's the difference between the Swan & the Dolphin?

We've never been inside either of these and I wondered if they are essentially the same resort or do they differ? Is one fancier than the other? Any difference in price between the two?

Thanks!

One is a bird and one is a mammal. Just kidding...never stayed at either. Although i do find it odd that The Swan has a large swan on top of it, while The Dolphin has, what appears to be, a large trout on top of it. What's up with that?!?!:rotfl2:

The bed size. Something I wish I'd known when I booked the dolphin. :(

Dolphin = full size beds
Swan = queen size beds

Many consider Swan to be more adult but I think the Dolphin looks pretty.

The Dolphin is much larger. I prefer the Dolphin but you will find many who prefer the Swan...it's just a personal preferance.
Is one fancier than the other? No, I don't think so. The Dolphin is more open, so there is more room for grandness, if you know what I mean. I also like the ability to use Picabu at the Dolphin. It's open 24 hrs and is so nice to head to in order to grab a quick bite to eat.
I believe the room rates are pretty comparable.

It's a dolphin fish...not the dolphin that we all think of. It sorta looks like a carp if you ask me!

Thanks, I didn't know that. Although after looking at pictures on the internet, I don't think that thing on top of the Dolphin looks like a Dolphin Fish either!:lmao:

They do not charge more for a room with a king bed. I think they have more kings than Disney resorts. Be sure to request one when making a reservation. The Dolphin's rates are usually more than the Swan's. Not sure why. We really love staying at the Swan! The beds are extremely comfortable. The Swan rooms have two sinks while the Dolphin has one.

We're staying at the Dolphin for the first time in August and have reserved a room with a King sized bed. The rates at the Swan are $20 more per night. The resort and parking fees are the same at both.
