Ok, what gives? The last two times I have called to modify/inquire about our current reservation, the systems have been down and they have been unable to help. This happened on Sunday (the system was down most of the day) and just now when I called. Walt Disney World is a HUGE corporation and I just don't understand why they have so many frequent technical problems and glitches. It's frustrating.

Booking isn't even available online. I'd imagine that they are missing out on many possible reservations when this type of occurrence happens.

Dont know if its because the last promo day for FD is tomorrow and they're uploading new offers - or the system crashed i.e., going through 'magical enhancements'. If its any consolation, dining is also down. As frustrating as it is, someone trying to get a reservation for the first time now and not able to get through, will likely still try to log back on at some point to seek that reservation.

As much as i love Disney the world, they have the worse IT staff from the top to the bottom. It took them years just to get 10 meg to the hotel rooms back in the wired days and it was still problematic. Their biggest spend on any IT infrastructure was the magic bands that went at least a billion with a (B) over budget. Otherwise they outsource and tend to be absentee landlords to all their other IT infrastructure.

Well, they're back up & running now. Still frustrating that this happens so frequently with them. :/

I would suggest you EMAIL Guest Relations (which will actually ACCEPT EMAIL) - ask them to forward your issues DIRECTLY to:
For Reference? CIO = Chief Information Officer. In theory, where the buck stops.

And it will be seen by her admin who wont respond at all.
