What's the deal with Kohls???

Everything I have tried to buy lately (car seat, portable crib etc) is ineligible for discounts! That was the reason I used to love Kohls - you could use your coupons on EVERYTHING. Now they are just like all the other retailers who have tons of exceptions! They are losing a lot of my business - I'll just go to Walmart from now on. I wonder if enough people complain they will change the policy.

FWIW, it's likely not Kohls that's driving this. Manufacturers have gotten a lot more picky about protecting their products from discounts. They dictate to the retailer that coupons and discounts cannot apply, so if the retailer wants to carry their stuff, they have to comply.
