I don't know why I can't remember this. . . is it $90/pt, $95?

And if you waitlist for an add-on at a sold-out resort, that's the price you pay, right?

Thanks! :wave2:

SSR is $95 - an $8 incentive = $87 for 49 years of points.

The waitlist price for sold-out resorts is $89 for 37 years of points.

You answered all my questions rolled into one perfectly! (no wonder I can't keep it straight!). :teeth:

Isn't more cost effective to buy a resale for added points. When you add on points do you have to do it for your use year?

As far as cost effective, I think it depends on how many pts you're adding on--resales have the closing costs to factor in--for some of them, that raises the cost per point to about what you pay thru Disney.

If you buy an add-on through Disney, you get the same use year as your other contract(s). But if you buy resale, you get whatever use year the contract has.

Think I've got that right. . . :flower:

We're paying $95 a point and I don't believe we're getting an $8 incentive. :confused3
Disney did give us 1,280 towards our downpayment and no dues of course till Jan '06.. Our payments don't start till Sept. We just signed the final papers last week.

So the incentive was for add-ons? :confused3

Then you did get the incentive. $1280 / 8 = 160

I assume you are buying 160 points, correct?

Yes, 160 points! My guide never mentioned it..just the down payment. I saw people were paying 87 a point and was wondering how come I didn't get that deal.
