Just curious :goodvibes

When i went just a few weeks ago i got stuck on Splash Mountain in WDW :cool1: We were stopped right before Brer Fox is pushing Brer Bear into the tree thing and then you go into the scene with all the bees and stuff. We were right under the possums, right before the mailboxes that say Pansy Petunia and Poppy. Oh and Brer Rabbit is sticking his head out of the tree too.

Anyway, we just randomly stopped, and i swear i heard "Looks like Brer Fox and Brer Bear are causin some kinda commotion downstream. Please stay seated in your logs until the ride resumes" fifty times  so there was a CM that came and told us (after 15 minutes of us sitting there) that they were going to try to reset the ride. Ok, they were gonna get us going again. Yay! haha nope! we were stuck another 30 minutes while they tried to reset the ride. Finally, another CM came around and escorted everyone off the ride. We got to go BACKSTAGE :woohoo: and outside the ride!! Well when we were outside, we walked past where they keep the floats for the parade and there were all kinds of people walking around and it was cool :rotfl: it was a MNSSHP night so they gave us like almost full bags of candy for waiting (:

I almost forgot! the night before this we were at Epcot and they had closed down Test Track for a while. We came back during EMH right before the park closed and rode it again 2 times without waiting in line. While we were riding through, i noticed all the lights were on! My parents were sooo confused because they thought the lights were always on. But this time they didn't have any special lighting (except for those in the heat and cold and erosion chambers) and it was just the overhead lights. Even the part where you almost get hit by the semi, all the lights were on there too. i was like doing the happy dance after we got off :yay: haha the parents were still confused, so i just happy danced my way back to our car (:

Needless to say i was extremely happy and this was probably the coolest trip i've ever taken to WDW! Thank you Mr. Mickey Mouse and your power to make things break down! :worship:

Please feel free to share the coolness of the mouse below :)

lol same but we got stuck right when you go down the drop! Like right in front of the huge opening.....sooo scarey

My sister's birthday was close to our trip in 2010, so she wore her birthday button the whole trip. Our last full day, however, she forgot it in our room. So we watched the cute morning show at MK and were let in to the park. The princesses and princes and other characters were walking down Main Street with the guests, and that was cool!

But then Disney magic made an appearance.

Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen were walking on our right (my sister nearest them). Prince Naveen looked at her, took her hand, and said "Happy birthday Princess." My sister said thank you and smiled widely, but as he walked away she noticed:

She wasn't wearing a birthday button or anything else that would convey that we were celebrating a birthday. We hadn't met them earlier in the week or anything like that either. Not sure how it happened, but it was a truly magical experience :goodvibes

Watching Illuminations from the top the stairs of the Italian Building! Such a wonderful view!

DH and I were sitting back at the entrance into the Italian Pavillion waiting for Illuminations to start since we had already seen it twice that week, when a CM ask if we had seen it before. We both smiled and said this would be our third time his week. She asked if we wanted to watch it from a different perspective and yes we jumped at the opportunity. :yay:

It was absolutely the most romantic evening in Italy we have ever experienced and what seemed to be a private showing of Illuminations. It was a perfect ending to a weeks vacation!

Awwwww, how sweet! I'm sure she was excited!

One time when i was a kid i was at Disney next to the Castle in a garden and i saw a squirrel so i tried to pet its tail and when i touched it it jumped on my back and i spun in circles because i couldnt get it off haha. Eventually it jumped off and ran away

Umm, too many! Well one was that when i was little, i couldnt speak (soemthing was wrong in my mouth, but now i talk all the time). So until i was 4, i spoke sign language. When i was in WDW, i was eating breakfast at Chef Mckeys and i was speaking sign language to Minnie. I remember being so happy that day!
