What's the cheapest you've stayed on property for??

Do you REALLY want to know? Cause it's not available any more, and it wasn't available to the general public anyway.....

$66 a night at the Contemporary, 2003.
Shades of Green was being rehabed and offered soldiers and vets rooms at the Contemporary for this cheap (depending on rank).

It was fab. We stayed 10 nights, family of 4. Park tickets I think were more expensive then cause you HAD to buy the hoppers/water parks/non-expiring.

I want to say that with airfare, food, tickets, and hotel we paid about $3500.

:)

But the cheapest I have gotten a room at Disney without using a military discount is $92 at POR.

We save on food costs by not doing DDP and splitting entrees (sometimes). Then again, sometimes we have saved on food costs by doing DDP- it all really depends on where we want to eat.

We got same deal on Contemporary but cheaper for tickets we bought the tickets ahead of time on Base

We used to stay at pop for about 50$ a night in 2003-2004.

But the cheapest, 25$ a night at the Fort. Of course in the past couple of years, we've had to use CM discount to get it that low. But during off season you can get some pretty cheap sites with AAA discount, FL resident, or Passholder.

We were passholders, so tickets were never in the budget. And we usually would split a meal or get kids meals for our meal.

We booked a bounce back free dining for September 2010. We will stay at Pop Century for 14 nights, have ten day base tickets, Disney Dining Plan, and utilize Magical Express, so we won't be renting a car.

Our total cost comes to $2122 due to Disney Corp. and that averages out to $38 per person per day.

Our budget will include a couple hundred dollars to cover tips and reusable mugs. We will also have to purchas air fare which is not included in that per person amount. If Southwest prices stay where they are for a flight in September, then we will spend just under $850 for flights.

So, all in all, we will spend $3172 for 14 nights in Disney World. Our cost per person per day comes in at $56.10.

When all is said and done, I cannot find a cheaper way for our family to have a great vacation.

Since I haven't seen this listed, we got the Swan for $79/night through Priceline about 8 years ago. I don't think the Swan and Dolphin are available through Priceline bidding anymore, though, and even if they are, it's not a guarantee.
