What's the cancellation policy?

We are staying 2 nights this weekend in a premium site with tents. That's all that was available. I am stalking the site in case a tent site opens up. I'm trying to decide whether to call or just book and then cancel should something open.

Im guessing worse case scenario I can just put the lines on one side off the pavement. Looks like good weather this weekend.
 
  • This is from the Disney website......

  • In order to receive a refund of your deposit, including credit card deposit transactions, notification of cancellation must be received at least 5 days prior to your arrival date. Additionally, if you are holding any other types of reservations, such as dining, those reservations will not be cancelled unless you call (407) W-DISNEY (407-934-7639).
  • When you arrive you can ask the CM if a tent site is open and if so they can downgrade you from a Premium to a tent site.
 
For room-only reservations (as opposed to package reservations): cancellation by 5 days before arrival....modification (including changing dates, resorts, room type) at any time
