What's the big deal?

I'm hoping you all can shed some light on something for me.

I'm planning a trip to Disneyland in November and I want to stay at the Disneyland Hotel (I'm using my DVC points). My question is why is it better to stay on the concierge level than on another floor?

I know there is a lounge, but is there any other reason? I would like to treat my hubby to someplace nice and will gladly spend the money, but why should I do it?

I would love your input.
