What's the best way to get to Chef Mickey's for breakfast?

I made a PS for Chef Mickey's for breakfast, but I'm having trouble with how to get there! We're staying at POFQ, and our PS is for 8:40am. MK is scheduled to open at 9:00 that day, so how early do the busses start running? Do we take a bus to MK and then the resort monorail over to the Contemporary?

There will be an early bus from POFQ to take you over to the Magic Kingdom. Buses start out for the breakfasts at 7:20am. If you tell the drive that you are going to Chef Mickey's for breakfast he just might drop you off at the Contempory. (he did for me last February.)

You can take the early bus to the MK & then walk or take the monorail.

But if you are running a little behind, you can always take a cab. It would only be a couple of dollars.

When we do early PS, we always take a cab. That saves us having to rush to a park & then getting to a resort from there. Also gives us a few extra minutes of sleep.

We took a cab from the Yacht Club when we were there last month for an 8:30am PS at Chef Mickey's. It was about $10 with tip and was definately worth it for the extra half hour of sleep and stress free morning that it gave us!

I was thinking about driving and then leaving the car there for the day and take the monorail over to MK. Does anyone know if we can do that?

No, you cannot. Security will give you a three hour parking pass. If you wish to spend the day at the MK, I suggest parking the car at the MK parking lot, and taking the monorail into the Contemporary.
