Hi Can anyone explain to me the advantages of an early booking at CRT.
Why is it good to get An 8am or so? I have read some people have gotten loads done in FL after their breakfast.....How does this work? are you allowed into FL whilst the ropes are still up for everyone else or is it just because you are positioned well for rope drop

Iam just a bit confused and trying to work out if it will be worth going for an early booking! :cheer2:

We had an 8:15 ADR for CRT a couple of weeks ago and the best part of the breakfast was being able to be there so early!!! We were the very first ones into the park (now this is before the actual park opening ceremony) so we had main Street to ourselves for awhile along with about only 20 other people. It was AWESOME to get to see MK like this, take family pictures with no one else in the picture, take a slow stroll down the street, etc.

The actual meal I don't think makes any difference with the timing.

I will say, however, we finished about 5 til 9:00 and were able to stand right behind the castle next to the rope. Right at 9:00 they drop the rope and we were on the first Dumbo ride of the day (saving a lot of wait time no matter when you go). Then hopped right over to Peter Pan which is also a wait most of the time and PhilharMagic . Then the rest of Fantasyland all before 10:00. Can't beat that!!!! We had Toontown and FL all done by noon which is sooo wonderful. You can take it easy the rest of the day and with little kids you can return to FL later in the evening for more short lines for rides we wanted to do a second or third time. It was AWESOME!!!!

Stay away from any time in between---it's best to book the earliest seating 8-8:15 or the latest 10:45-11:15 to take advantage of low crowds in morning. If you choose a later time, you can get to park 30 minutes before park opening and get in some attractions before checking in. Your late bfast can sub as a brunch and you should be full until early dinner.

We have an 8:10 am on a non early entry MK day.
We are hoping for the empty view of MK too.

Very nice way to start a day.

Just make sure you have transportation.

WDW resort's have a 7 am breakfast bus - check with your resort desk.
Character Breakfast busses start running at 7:00am, and run approx every 15 minutes. They have the flexibility to allow direct transportation to the theme parks, and area resorts.

The Poly, GF and Cont have the monorail running around 7:15 AM for breakfasts. Again, check with the resort.

Thanks for the help :thumbsup2
I think I will definitly try to get a really early ADR, I love the thought of getting all of FL done early and Having the park virtually to ourselves when we arrive.
Does anyone know if this would make it easier to be first into tinks treasures to wake up tink? Iam probably not even going to try this as the chances are of being dissapointed and I'd rather be relaxed about it. What time does it open?

I believe that if you can get an 8:00 breakfast ADR you stand a fairly good chance (though not a guarantee obviously) of being to wake up tink. If you get your pictures taken with Cinderella pretty quick and enjoy your meal but don't sit forever, you can get down to the rope behind the castle probably at least 10 minutes of 9:00. If you go to the left side of the rope, you will be positioned within probably 30 feet of Tink's Treasures which I would think would be a good shot at it. We would have done this had I thought about it early, but when we got to the rope I saw some other little girls' parents poised and ready to run to Tink's and since our girls didn't know what they would be missing, we decided to forego it and let the other people do it. So, long story short, I think it would give you a decide chance at it.

We always go early and are standing there when the rope drops. Then we hurry along to all the rides that normally have a long wait time and do those first. Definately go early! It just gets the day started right! :sunny:

Seeing that this reservation is harder and harder to get, you might not get a choice and be stuck with all they have left....

I agree 8am or 8:10 is perfect, you get to really enjoy Main Street without the masses same for the castle interior-noone around you can really look at it. My daughter felt even more special because noone else was in the park. The staff is fresh and happy. Best of all, when they drop the rope, you can walk onto 3-4 rides with no wait before the crowd hits. From there, head over to toon town (they open a little later) and get as many as 9 autographs and pics before there is a line, then do those rides without a wait....PERFECT!!!

We go for the latest booking (for this week the latest is 10:30 rather than 11 like previous visits). I hate to commit to being there by 8 and having to rush. Last time we got there at opening, enjoyed FL with no lines and then were ready for a brunch and break. We were 2nd or 3rd to last at being seated and it was perfect. My kids got lots of character time and the servers were very attentitive. I think they wanted to give us whatever we wanted as quickly as possible so we'd finish but it wasn't a rushed feeling.

We liked the late as possible ressie as we were one of the last ones in and DD's were able to get a lot of time with the Pricesses and we were able to get a great pic with my youngest DD and Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. We got both together, which wouldn't happen any other time of the morning.

Good luck, YO

I go along with everyone else.. we try to get a ~8am ressie at CRT or CP on a non EMH day. We get to walk in without the crowds. It's a magical start to the day. We don't try to rush the meal to get out by 9 but just enjoy however long it takes and the crowds are still not there yet.

The other time I choose is the latest ADR(10:30?) on a EMH day. Go early and do the rides for 2.5 hours then have a nice meal - brunch. Your usually good a hungry then too! No rush to leave and have an enjoyable meal.

I am in the late as possible crowd. We went a couple of weeks ago, had a 10:20 seating which was the last seating of the morning. The restaurant was clearing out, the screaming kids were departing, the chaos and the crowd were dying down. My DD princess: got lots of character time, we got lots of attention from our server, David who was awesome by the way :thumbsup2 . We were seated at a window overlooking FL and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and a nice cup of coffee without feeling rushed. David encouraged us to sit, have more coffe, relax and enjoy. We were the last party to leave for the morning, which also gave me an opportunity to take some great pictures of DD princess: on the staircase and with the Christmas Tree that was downstairs. This was by far the most enjoyable meal we had as far as atmosphere, service and overall experience. :goodvibes
