What's the best search engine

When you're doing your holiday research what's your favourite search engine. The ones I've been using are awful.

I think Google is pretty good, as long as you use the advanced search feature.

It would largely seem to be a matter of personal preference. I am an AOL user and their browser is powered by Google and I have to say it has never failed me yet.
