what's the best rate you've gotten on AKL?

We got the AP code from MOUSESAVERS Dec. 9-16...a standard view for $109/night. Would love to upgrade to a Savannah view, but we are doing Cirque de Soliel, MVMCP, CP package...so we had to cut back somewhere. We don't stay in the room much anyway and we hear there are lots of great places to view the animals.

I used a code from Mousesavers also...It was a code that included length of stay passes so I am not sure of my room rate exactly but I can tell you I upgraded from ASM where we had ressis for 5 days 4 nights, length of stay for $919.00 to AKL Deluxe Savannah View using the package code plus DC discount and got a package price of $1185......

Best friend and I are plitting the trip so using the code that included passes and $50.00 Disney club card discount it only cost $133.00 each to upgrade from ASM to AKL Deluxe Savannah View..............

Long story short our trip November 8th through November 12th Hotel, Airfare, Transfers, Length of stay passes for ASM was $1446...Trip upgrade with discounts $1712....

Can't even tell you how exciting it is!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just stayed at AKL with a FL Resident rate of $119 for standard. When we checked in we were upgraded to deluxe pool view . The rack rate for that room is 330.00 in value season, so I think we did great!

$119 ($134 w/tax) for September 27-October 2nd. This is for a standard view and using a postcard code. Unfortunately the savannah view was $50 more a night and out of our price range.

I was just out surfing the WDW site and the airlines one night because I was wishing we could go again. I wasn't really serious about it, just poking around because I read a lot of threads that said there were some good deals out there.

I was amazed when I found airfare for $165/person. From Illinois, that is an absolutely great fare. Then I went to the WDW site just to see what AKL cost/night. We have always wanted to stay there and since this wasn't real anyway, I decided to see how much it cost. I was bowled over when I found the "Fabulous Fall Special" offering AKL for $139/night (standard room)! That is $100/night off the regular room rate!

I talked to DH and we booked both the airline and the room that night! Now we are one month away from our trip and we can't wait!!!

We got a Savannah room two weeks from now for $164/night.
Its what they call a "Fall Fling Special" available to Canadian residents.

Just booked the AKL (on-line) from Dec. 21st to Dec. 29th at $119/night, standard view. I was quite suprised to find that rate over the holidays!

We have a rate of $149.00 (165.00 w/tax) for a savannah view room over Thanksgiving.

DS and I just returned ! - I LOVED this resort and can't wait to go back and take the whole family - we had booked Fall Fantasy (Fling?) with the $50 DC disc - for 3 nights it came to $173. per night incl tax for savannah view (value season, last week Aug).

what a range of prices! we are going in february and i'm tempted to move from asmu to akl, if i can get a good enough price. i know it'll be worth the money! thanks for the info folks!

We paid $124 per night in August. We had booked a standard room but got a complimentary upgrade at checkin to savannah view.

This January we paid $169 plus tax for savannah view - this was an AP rate. There was also a code rate out of $189 for savannah view for the same time period.

a night - the fourth night free!

Total cost $444.00 for 4 nights!

Works out to about $98.00 a night plus tax!

We are all excited and looking forward to it!

We just got back on Saturday, we were there 9/1-9/7. Our rate was originally $143 per night for the AP rate, but then there was a better code from Mousesavers that got us $129 per night (plus tax).

It was supposed to be for standard view but I think we got upgraded or something, because we had a room that was right over Mara, and a very short walk from both the lobby and Arusha Rock, and it had a gorgeous view of the pool area.

We have ressies for Dec. 19 thru Dec 23 at $156 per night before taxes for a Savannah view room. I used the code on the WDW website and got the same rate as the code listed on Mousesavers. Either way, I feel we got a good deal!

We are splitting our stay and we are taking my Mom so we decided to slurge for AKL Concierge because of the great reviews. Anyway are rate for Con/savannah view is $304. 00 and that is with taxes and the extra $25.00 per night for the 3rd adult. Now I checked the rate o Disney.com and with taxes this room would run $688.20 per night. So I think that it is a steal for $304.00.

I just love those codes, don't you.

We got an AP rate of $188 for one night in October, savannah view. I'm not sure if it's deluxe or not though.
