On a code watch for November right now, and just wondering what YOUR best rates for WL were?:)

We paid $124/night in July 2004 for Wilderness Lodge! We had a great time - loved everything about the hotel!!! DD loved the water slide! Our room overlooked the pool area!

We'd love to stay there around Christmas time, but the rates are usually a bit higher than we'd like to pay. I keep checking though!

Good luck!!! (I have AKL booked right now for the week of Thanksgiving. A little higher than I wanted, but hoping a discount will come along??!!)

Wow - those are great rates! I'm not expecting anything that good, but I now feel there's hope for me.:)

$105 plus tax, January annual pass rate. The best part was, it was after the hurricanes did damage to the area, and I had a standard view but when I checked in, there was the castle!!! The trees that had fallen had cleared an opening through the woods and I had a side view of the castle right out my window. In case you're wondering, I was on the smokehouse side.

Best rate was a Florida Resident Rate in June a few years back - $109 a night.

By the way grinningghost -- love your sig pic. -- I just watched The Bronx Tale yesterday afternoon! The Fordham area of the Bronx was only about 7 blocks south from where I lived as a little girl before we moved to Riverdale.

Glad you like it. It's a great movie.:thumbsup2

$108 a nite back in June of 2003 with AAA discount. Haven't seen a discount like that in years. Would really like to see one again, esp one that we could use.

Man oh man! I wish I could get some rates like that. I was quoted $230.00 (or so can't remember the correct number).

$139.00 for a standard room in June 03, upgraded to a courtyard :goodvibes

$79 a night, Feb. 2005, CM holiday discount, courtyard view.

I'm paying $230 with AAA discount for a courtyard view 9/5-12. If a "general public" discount becomes available, can I get it changed? It's room only since I already have park tickets.

$180 Honeymoon suite concierge AP Discount January 2004
I believe the room we stayed in was "demolished" to allow for a larger lounge

$129 Courtyard view in February 2004...but I haven't seen it that low for some time now
