a character meal with the princesses? I have a feeling my girls would like than more than any of the other character meals. Thanks!

we usually try and book the castle. have done that one several times. we have done the one in Norway, but enjoyed the castle better. i would go w/the castle first and if that is unavailable, then have a back up plan. good luck:yay:

If you are on the dining plan though keep in mind that CRT is 2 TS and Norway is only 1. We are planning on skipping CRT and doing Norway for a late breakfast on our Norway day. This is served all you can eat family style and you get quite a few princesses rather than just Cinderella. Which is your children's favorite princess. I would consider that when deciding.

Akerhaus is a better deal IMO if your girls aren't dead set on eating in the castle. You still get the photo included with your meal, and you get 5 princesses. Do breakfast if you think you have some pickier eaters because the food is Norweigan, and DH was a tad disappointed in the dinner (not taste, but was hoping for all you can eat, but it really isn't at the dinner hour).

If they are Cinderella junkies (like my DD was at the time) do 1900 Park Fare for dinner. It is Cindy, Prince Charming (hottie at our meal!), the step mother & step sisters. I thought my 2 yr old was going to explode when Cindy & Price came to the table. She was stand-offish the rest of the trip with all the other characters.

The castle is a great experience! We have done that many times.

This trip we did 1900 Park Fare for dinner and I was very impressed. The stepsisters and stepmother were hysterical. I was not expecting to have liked this one as much as we did.

Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast, gotta eat in the castle! Second choice would be Akershus. BUT as PP said the food is not great. I'm glad we did it for the characters though. You get a picture with Belle in her yellow ball gown. Ours was absolutely gorgeous.

1900 is great too, but only Cinderella is there.

We did both Norway and the Castle last year - for us, Norway was #1. When you do the castle, you have a meet and great with Cindy befor you even go upstairs which is really nice, but its extra time just standing around, and with little ones, the less you stand around the better. Also, you can do Norway at night - the castle doesn't have any characters at night. Plus the food at Norway was super good!!!

We are doing the Princess Storybook in Norway this trip but we are planning a family trip with close family friends of ours in a couple of years and plan on doing the castle then. I haven't heard great reviews about CRT lately but I think it's one of those things you have to do once just for the experience!!

Good luck with which ever you decide!!

I agree totally. Both are good but eating in the castle just adds a little more magic!

I have been to the castle and Akershus in Norway and enjoy Akershus much more, because we like the food better and it is only 1 TS credit on the dining plan. We've been to Akershus 3 times now and are going back at the end of September.

I guess if I would've paid more attention to the Unofficial Guide I could've answered this for myself. LOL! I think Akershus looks to be the best option for us. the more princesses the better! I hope I can get in for breakfast since that sounds like my best option.

Princess Breakfast in Norway, we have been there twice with our nieces and the food is great, the girls eat alot and the character interaction is priceless

Akerhaus is great and the food IMO gets a bad wrap, if you want burgers and fries yes its not going to make you happy but if you want to try something diff you might be pleasantly surprised. We have done all 3 CM (1900, CRT and PSB) and Norway wins hands down (although if you like the step sisters 1900 is a blast). The other great thing about Norway is you can usually catch all the princesses at PSB or within Epcot so it really does work out nicely
