Whats the best photo/multipurpose printer to buy?

What brand of printer would you recommend, or have you had good or bad experiences with for printing photos from a digital camera? I need a printer that is good for photos, but also can be used just for documents, etc, for my work also. Any suggestions?

I'm currently using an HP V40 multipurpose and I really like it. Had it about a year now. Prior to that I had a Xerox multipurpose and detested it.

We just bought a Canon S520. It is a bubble jet, not a laser, so the printed docs might not be as crystal clear as you might like. For photos, I can't believe the clarity - the pictures are beautiful. My husband chose this one because it ranked #1 with Consumer Reports.
