Whats the best Disney Resort?

Wilderness Lodge hands down! It was quiet and romantic. We had the 6th floor room with a balconey overlooking the courtyard. The greatest thing about that floor is that you have a solid railing in most of the rooms so people cannot see in your room unless it is over the railing and maybe the next floor above you...
Love the boat ride to MK. During the times we have been there it gets busy on the boat but well worth the wait. The casual atmosphere of "being" in a lodge/cabin was very relaxing.

I haven't stayed at a lot of WDW resorts (Contemporary resort in the early 80's, WL in 1997, and BC in 1998), but in my limited experience, I would have to say that the WL is wonderful! We had a wonderful stay there :)

Hey Mark . . .:D

I'm sure everyone has their favorite resort . . .and whomever likes a certain resort will say its the best . . .so you'll probably get lots of answers . . .

In my opinion . . .my favorite resort so far (I won't use the word best:) ) would be the Poly.

We always stayed offsite and in 99 we stayed at the GF. It was a beautiful resort and we were taken in by Disney magic. The Poly has a different feel to it . . .it was like paradise to us . . .tropical, friendly . . .

I can't decide which one I like better . . .I know my kids favored the Poly . . .

All Disney resorts will be the best to someone . . .they all have the Disney magic and they bring out the kids in all of us:D

Of course it's a matter of opinion, but my favorites are the Grand Floridian and the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I love the theming and decor of both (though they are very different). The monorail is a great perk at the GF.

My opinion, for what it matters would be WL and AKL. We have stayed at Fort Wilderness Cabins x3, CSR,DI bungalows and treehouses, ASMo, BWV x2, OKW x2, WL and AKL.

That is a loaded question for this board. Everyone has there own opinion on their favorite resort. A lot will depend on if you are looking for deluxe or mod or value. Type of theme, which park you want to be close to, do you want a monorail resort, etc...

Now for my choice (opinion) it is CSR. Check out my info page below.

Good luck deciding!!

I would suggest the Boardwalk Inn. It is very romantic and in a GREAT location! :) DH and I stayed there a couple of years ago and we loved it. ;) We had a beautiful room overlooking the rose gardens with a perfect view of Illuminations every night. ;)

Also the Grand Floridian is wonderful. ;)

Or, if you need to stick to a budget, I would highly recommend Caribbean Beach Resort. It is the best moderate (in my opinion) and very beautiful.

There is a lot of info here at the DIS, and also at www.wdwig.com! :p

Have a GREAT trip!!!

I WOULD HAVE TO SAY HAND DOWN THE YATCH AND BEACH CLUB BY FAR THATS WHERE THE BET POOL IS AND THE HOTELIT'SSELF IS GORGEOUS. AND IT IS SO CLOSE TO THE BOARDWALK I'VE WALKED OVER THER QUIT A FEW TIMES IT IS GREAT.
