whats the 40 second rule?? ive heard people mention it... what is it?

You can only post every 40 seconds. It is to prevent flooding of the boards.

But of course, if you have a tempermental computer, like me, you might accidently click the post button twice, and it will tell you that you posted twice, even though it was within 40 seconds, but you really didn't.

In Heaven computers will actually be a convenience.

I like the 40 seconds. Other forums I belong to its a minute. It's annoying, it takes 5 minutes to make 5 posts.

Well, it's not like you'll get in trouble, it just won't let you.

The flood control won't let you post within 40 seconds. You won't get a warning or anything if you try to post. It'll just state that you've posted in the last 40 seconds.
