Whats that app?

A while ago, Pete talked about a great iPhone app that organizes your travel itineraries. If I remember correctly, this app also allows you to share your travel details with people of your choosing? Was that app called Tripit? Has anyone used it?

As Kevin confirmed, yes the application is TripIt.

I've been using it for a couple of years now and its very easy. It handles all my reservations, hotel, air, car, cruise, dining. Many of these are easily set up just by forwarding a confirmation email to TripIt. You also have the option of giving TripIt access to your incoming mailbox (which may not be a great idea privacy wise) and it will automatically access travel related confirmations.

I've found it valuable for having all my travel info in one spot. I also share my itinerary with family and friends so they know where to find us. When you share an itinerary they don't see cost data, only the pertinent date/time info.

Love using Tripit! My DW and I use it for work and pleasure. We also use it to share our itineraries with fellow travelers, vacation regulars, pet sitter, and family members. It is also a great tool when travelling abroad.

Great app -been using it since it was introduced. Just started our London/Paris trip for the fall!

Glad to hear Tripit has worked so well for all of you. I'll give it a try. And great advice about privacy. I wouldn't have thought of that.
