What is stocked at the first aide stations in the parks and does it cost anything? I was hoping for band-aides, tylenol etc.

They have all kinds of things. First aid stuff, like bandages ect., they can keep medicine refrigerated for those who need it. They will also hold medical equipment such as a nebulizers, and you can plug it in there and have your treatment. As far as I know it does not cost anything. I have been there many times, such as the things I mentioned above, also my son threw up and they gave my baggies and plastic liners( you know those bed wetting pads) to cover his stroller because his stroller was covered in puke. They are very helpful. :)

I have made use of the 1st aid stations several times and was never charged for any of it. They are all well equipped with any type of "over the counter" medications that you may need, as well as an assortment of bandages. They can check your temp, blood pressure, etc. And if need be they will get you to an ER safely and efficiently. They also have "private" areas for you to rest if you are not feeling well enough to walk around the park or head back to your resort.

Thanks for all the info. I don't want to carry around things I "might" need.

My husband had a major allergy attack at MK (must have been flowers or something because he had been fine at DHS the day before). Of course it was the ONE morning I didn't carry my fully loaded backpack because we were only staying until lunch, then heading back to the resort for a while. He was going to buy some meds, but I talked him into going to first aid instead. A very nice nurse gave him Benadryl, plus an extra dose for later in the day so he wouldn't have to go back. He was impressed that I knew it was FREE! Thanks Dis!

They did the same for me - I had a really bad insect bite come up on my arm and all our allergy stuff was back at our villa - we went to a med station in DHS (MGM then) and they gave me benadryl for then and one for later!! No charge and a friendly smile - that's Disney!!
