Whats SSR like in August

We stayed at SSR Christmas 2007 and my son loved the night time movies by the pool. Just wondering if this is something they have all year around. We are staying there next month from 11th to 28th so interested to know what sort of activites will be going on. Hope to be spending alot of time at the resort this time.
