... and always meant to?

I've never
  • been miniature golfing
  • been to the Boardwalk area
  • been on the Astro Orbiter (after years of going to DL and WDW, I can't believe this one)
  • had a seat for a daytime parade
  • been on the magic carpets
  • seen Lights, Motor, Action!
  • seen the new Star Tours! This wasn't around last time but I have to do it!
  • seen One Man's Dream
  • seen the Finding Nemo musical
  • snorkeled in the Shark Reef at Typhoon Lagoon (never been to that water park, actually!)

Oh well. Better plan more trips! :thumbsup2

I have never and always wanted to......

  • been minature golfing
been to any of the water parks
    rode mission space
    rode test track
    space mountain (back problems)
    rode astro orbiter
    ate at Chef Mickeys

I had alot of this on the agenda for a trip last year but I had to cancel when I had to move out of Florida abruptly due to a nasty separation/divorce. But as soon as I get back on my feet....I am back on my again :cool1:

I don't think I'll ever do Mission Space Orange! I've heard of people not walking straight for an hour afterwards. LOL

I am one of those ppl

Who can't find golfing or tennis, or anything like that, at home? I have done everything else, but I don't bother doing anything I can do at home.

Star Tours is pretty rough too, I've only ridden the new version once and that was my last time!

I think Disney needs to chill on the jerky rides.

I figure the golf courses are there for people who aren't going with their families to the parks. Or for people attending conferences. Something like that. They do look like nice golf courses, so maybe the appeal is trying a new location.

Star Tours was kinda jerky before. Is it worse? I love thrill rides but jerky is not fun. (No spoilers!)

I think it is jerkier, but that is an opinion of someone who hates "jerky". I would go on it once to see the new Q and new ride and if you really can't stand it don't go on it again...like I did:goodvibes, but each time, you go somewhere new, so I am missing out because it makes me ill. Try it and see.

I still haven't:

-Eaten at V&A I'd love the experience, but the cost on top of everything else at WDW puts it out of reach for us.

-Taken a behind the scenes tour One of these years I'll splurge and do this instead of doing the laundry while DH is golfing :rotfl2:(Yeah- the golfers really do like playing the WDW courses. Hard for non golfers to understand).

Been going since 1975 and I've never stepped foot on Tom Sawyer Island! Just never made/had the time for it, I guess. :confused3

I've never been to Tom Sawyer island either, but we'll go this time because DD3 will be with us and I think it'll be fun for her. I've never been to a water park since River Country (oh how I miss RC!) and I've never been golfing, miniature or otherwise, but I would love to go big-girl golfing. The boys went last time we were there and loved the course. It would be something I'd only do on a 10 day or longer trip, though. I wouldn't take that time out for a week long trip. I've never done Toy Story Mania either, but we'll try to get on it this time. Depends on how early our FP is and if we get it in before DDs nap. Some of the restaurants I've never done but then some I've had no desire to do. Ummm. I'm sure I'm missing some!

ETA: I LOVED Mission Space Orange!!! DH was woozy after but I loved it! I love spinny rides. I may have to do Star Tours by myself this time. Is it jerky like Dinosaur though? Because that was too much for me. Gave me a headache and wasn't fun at all. Just annoying.

We've never done a rope drop. No matter how hard we try, we never make it there in time. Can never get everyone up early enough to get there.

We've never done a waterpark. Don't see us doing one next time either. Going in December.

We've never stayed onsite. Can't really afford to. We own a timeshare so we stay there instead.

I've never done the tea cups. Those tea cups look brutal, yet I can do RnRC at least 10 times a day. :rotfl:

That's it! That's the one I was missing! We're planning on it this time though since park open is at 9 our first full day and we're staying at the Poly. With DD3 typically getting up at 6:30 (and earlier when she goes to bed later - I know, it's weird), I think we might actually make it!! :thumbsup2

I've never been on Astro-Orbiter. Heights are not my favorite but I think I'm going to force myself to go on the next trip. It may be the only current attraction I haven't done.

Even though we've been with the kids since they were young we never did Voyage of the Little Mermaid until last trip. Just never got to it.

Oh yeah there is one other thing we were able to do on the last trip. It was DW any my first without kids sooo..:rolleyes1

We always plan on it, we just never make it. I was surprised when everyone got up and we made it in time for breakfast at CP and TH. I think knowing we didn't have ADR's the rest of the time (for breakfast anyways), everyone took advantage of sleeping in a little later.

Good luck, I hope you make it to Rope Drop.:thumbsup2

In my near 30 years of going to Disney World, I did not realize how many things I haven't done until this post came out. I've never rode the river boat in LibSqr, and only been to Tom Sawyer (waste of perfectly good real estate, imo) Island once. In EpCot, I've never rode the sickening version of Mission:Space. In AK, the kiddie rides in DinoLand USA, with the exception of Primeval Whirl (LOVE IT!!!), have also been missed! As for golfing, grown or putt-putt, I have played two rounds at Palm and Magnolia, and all four putt-putt courses.
Never been to a Water Park, only done DisneyQuest once, and haven't been up in the big balloon at Downtown Disney. I've taken the Keys to the Kingdom Tour, and the Yuletide Christmas Tour once, but none of the other tours. I've never had a spa treatment, although my wife has had two (while I was golfing), and like the previous poster, never had a meal at V&A, although I don't think I would enjoy it. I would rather have a nice, quiet meal at Le'Cellier, and hear bad Canadian humor from the wait staff!
One other thing I have done, that others may have not, is experienced the Magic Kingdom on a night where the temperature was hovering at freezing and windy!! There was absolutely NOBODY in the park. I have a photograph taken by a cast member of me and my wife standing in the hub in front of the Castle, and there are NO other persons visible in the entire photo!!! Of course it was on a night where the park closed at midnight, and EMH's were until 3am! The time stamp on the pic is 10:55!!!!

I have never slept in...Always making my family get up and go...that may change this year as now my kids are 13 and 14 and sleeping in this summer is what they did best. :goodvibes Two weeks until I find out. We are going horseback riding this trip too, so that will be another thing to cross of the list.

I have never and always wanted to......

  • make it to a RD.
  • eat at LeCellier.
  • ride Test Track. (I always chicken out when I see the car go around the front)
  • take the Behind the Seeds tour.
  • and I'm sure many many other things I can't think of.

You should totally do Test Track! It's so fun. Honestly, that woosh around the front is just like being on the freeway. hehe. As coasters go, it's very tame. If you get nervous, just put your hands at 10 and 2 and pretend you're the one flooring it. Vvvvrrrroooommmm! :rotfl:

I have never gone to Blizzard Beach. I am from Wisconsin, so a snow themed water park does not appeal to me. I love Typhoon Lagoon.

I will also admit, and DH wants to change this, I have never, ever slept in while at WDW. I am a big believer that you can sleep when we get home!!
