Not trying to start an argument, just merely curious. So many seem to list it as a favorite. We've never been there and my 27 year old (yes 27 year old) sister would love to see Lilo & Stitch.

So what makes it so great?
And it's at what resort?

Out of the 5 character meals we did on our trip, this was hands-down our favourite. And #1 on the "do again" list for the next trip, whenever that might be.

Best character interaction :thumbsup2 , lovely setting at the Poly :thumbsup2 , yummy food :thumbsup2 and oh-so-relaxing with it served family style. Add in some amazing servers and its easy to see why its so popular.

oooh, family style!! I remember someone else mentioning that.

Do you prefer breakfast or dinner?

We love Ohana for their evening meal. It is served family style with all kinds of wonderful foods. We especially love the grilled meats and tasty dessert!!!

Its my understanding that there are no characters at dinner. If you want to meet Lilo and Stitch (who were GREAT, by the way!!) then you need to make ressies for breakfast. :)

Correctomundo! It's alos quite noisy at dinner - at least that's been our experience, but the food is very good. Lilo and Stitch are probably our least favorite characters too - which is why we never eat breakfast here.

The pineapple and cinnamon bread were the highlights for us...it was a great meal and the characters were alot of fun. Dont know if I would go out of my way for it but when we stay at the Poly it is so convenient

We LOVE the Ohana breakfast. We are having breakfast there twice in August. THe food is really good-served family style. Love the juice and the bread too.
The characters were Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Pluto, and maybe others (I dont remember)
My boys LOVED when they handed out maracas and danced around the room. Pluto took my youngest sons hand and led the pack. It was awesome!

I haven't had the Character Breakfast, but when I make our ADR lists, Ohana better be on there or I have two very unhappy men on my hands. My son (then 7) loves the interaction & entertainment (and the wings!). My husband loves giant spears of meat. I love the bread and the noodles. The bread pudding is to die for. It was our favorite meal!

everything!! however dinner for us is a must do, but they dont have characters at dinner. For breakfast it is good but there's not much variety since they bring the food to you at your table, but there are characters like Mickey, Chip and Dale, Lilo and Stitch. Dinner is awesome because they have a huge indoor grill and the food is wonderful!

The pineapple bread!:thumbsup2

It was one of our favorite character breakfast experiences. Even my very picky dd loved the food.

My family loves this breakfast. I like it okay, I really only like the pineapple items. It's nice in the morning when you get seated by the window to look over the castle. Never been for dinner.

Thanks everyone. I was just checking on the characters and as PP said, none at dinner. I used the wdwinfo link and wowza, they are not fans:

We ate there last week for the first time and loved the place. Service was very good. The shrimp was excellent, the steak was excellent, the view of the MK was excellent. And to think I almost let that same link above almost make me cancel my ADR. Ohana's will always be on my list to eat every time I visit WDW.

The Breakfast was awesome. The waffles melted in your mouth. The juice is amazing. The Hawaiian bread is out of this world. As a matter of fact, I came home today from work and my wife had made the bread!!!! :thumbsup2

I liked the characters and I love it being loud!(i can not stand to hear people chew food)The kids do a conga line around the rest. Great atmosphere!

I hear the dinner is amazing and just reading the menu makes my mouth water!

I will go out of my way to hit this character breakfast!

The POLY IMO has the best food lol! Ohana's is overall great but the bread pudding is the BEST!!!!!!!
