As long as you weren't talking about us on the Post Wasters thread... Because I know how much you guys like to talk about those of us who aren't on Flockdraw...

Relatively speaking, July is a short month in Major League Baseball thanks to the All-Star break, but it certainly wasn't short on great offensive performances. 22 players drove in at least 20 RBI and two batted better than .400 in the month. The red hot Red Sox offense really stood out from the pack in July. Among all players with 50-plus plate appearances, two of the top four July OPS leaders came from the Boston Red Sox.

Dustin Pedroia(notes), Boston Red Sox:

2008 AL MVP Dustin Pedroia is making a strong push for the award again with an outstanding stretch of baseball. After hitting .340 with a 1.010 OPS in June, Pedroia built on his hot summer with a 25-game hitting streak in July. He led all players with 46 hits for a .411 average, .465 on-base percentage and 1.188 OPS. Pedroia homered eight times, doubled nine times, stole six bases, drove in 20 RBI and scored an MLB-leading 27 runs in July.

Jacoby Ellsbury(notes), Boston Red Sox:

Speedy center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury is making up for his lost 2010 season with a breakout 2011 campaign. Over 25 games in July, Ellsbury maintained a .382 average with a .430 on-base percentage, 1.130 OPS and six steals. The leadoff hitter belted eight home runs, tied for second among all hitters in the month. He and Pedroia led the Red Sox to a 20-6 record in July as Boston's offense put up ten or more runs eight times.
