We haven't been to WDW since Tusker House became a TS - it used to be our favorite CS! Is it similar to what it used to be?

We never went when it was a CS, but we went last week and it was great! They had butter chicken, a few different kinds of rice, cous-cous, sandwich fixins and a great kids area that included corn dogs and make your own pb&j. It ended up being my favorite new place!!

They still have the same salmon and rotisserie chicken everyone loved when it was a counter service. There are exotic offerings, like samosas (my single favorite item on the buffet), curries, cous cous, unusual breads, plus carved meats and pretty ordinary items. There were a lot of fresh salads, some of them unusual. Desserts were wonderful and included American stuff and various kinds of baklava.

We loved this restaurant -- it will probably be the first ADR I make next time!

That is so encouraging to hear! I made an ADR for our first day there, and the food sounds right up our alley!

We were there two weeks ago. I love the cornbread and so did my kids. The salmon was very good. The desserts were yummy too. I would definately go back!

You can find a menu for Tusker House if you go to the top of DIS Boards and select DINING. Follow links to AK and Tusker House. The food is great and is almost the same buffet as Boma.:thumbsup2
