I will be bringing my niece to DL and it will be her first trip. I've previously visited on my own and with my little kids - so trips have been geared quite differently before. Just wondering if I can get some advice from those that have been with their teenagers before. What rides, where to dine, shows and anything else they enjoyed - maybe even shopping! Thanks!

She'll probably really like the shopping in DTD. It's a pretty cool place for teens to shop and eat at the various places. The Disney shops are a little more grown up.

I think she'd really like Mad T Party in DCA. Great music, cool vibe.

ToT, Screamin' for sure.

When I would go with cheer we did all the thrill rides, Indy, Mountains, Coasters, and what not. We also always did PotC, IASW, HM, and lots of the FL rides. Shopping in DTD is great for teens. There is D-Street and the urban store (by D-Street but can't remember what it is called) that has a lot of great stuff. I am guessing Mad T Party like PP said, I've never been so no idea. Have her look at the DLR website and see what she would want to do also. I have always loved shows but she might be more interested in just doing as many rides as possible.

You'll want to hit all the mountains as well as the e ticket attractions such as star tours, buzz, potc, and hm. I would miss the fantasy land attractions either. As for food, restaurant wise I would try rainforest cafe.

My DS who is a teen loves the waterparks and swimming. Of course he loves all the thrill rides like ToT and RnRC...
Remember teens like sleeping in and staying out late so early morning rope drops might not be as easy to get too! We get up for some early mornings but also let him have his sleep because a happy teen makes for a happy vacation :thumbsup2

Thanks! Great list - the top two rides were my two favorites at CA. I am especially surprised that your list has the Storyteller Cafe! I guess you're never too old to cuddle disney characters?:lovestruc

She loves the character breakfast still, but she also loves to go there at lunch or dinner just because the ambiance is so nice.

Make sure to stock pile the FPs for Space and Star Tours and things she may want to do in the evenings

I didn't even know that existed! I am going to make sure my son knows about this and can participate. He will love to hang out with other kids his own age. I hope this is not just weekends (although from the looks of it, it probably is...)

Ditto!!! Looks super cool! And I am actually GOOD at the Alice Xbox Kinect games in DL Adventures! Heh, heh, heh!

Looks like it's on Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon nights only. But, I suspect that could change depending on the season!

Thanks for the tip! :thumbsup2

We arrive on Monday in February, so if it is on a Monday night we will definitely have to hit it! Or at least drop DS off and let him have his fun while DH and I explore!
