I received my signed contracts back from DVC today for my records. What will be the next step? Closing? and then they will let me know that closing has occurred?

Call your guide to get a date for closing, or better yet- call MS and make a reservation. Your guide can provide your membership number and you can already make a reservation- even before closing.
