What's new since 2000?

We are planning a trip to WDW next summer 2004. Our last trip was in 2000, so I was wondering what's new at the parks.

Don't know what you remember from 2000, but here are a few things that were listed on the Disney web site.

Also a new value resot Pop Century opens this Dec.

Magic Kingdom will be having a new fireworks program called Wishes starting in October 2003. Also, Magic Kingdom is featuring a new, 3-D show called Mickey's Philhamagic near Fantasyland. I forgot the name temporarily but Goofy has a show in Frontierland in the Saloon, now.

Epcot dropped their TOD parade. I believe there's a new movie in the China pavillon.

MGM-Disney Studios's Tower of Terror ride now has random sequences to it's drops, not the same thing over and over. New York Street area is being closed off for a new, live attraction. Osbourne Lights will not be shown this Christmas because of this new ride.

About all I can add to Animal Kingdom is a new ride has been started called Expedition Everest but that's not due to open til 2006.

Early entry is back for on-site Disney guests. Saratoga Springs resort is being built now and it's a new Disney timeshare.

I think Aladdin's magic carpet ride and possibly the Pooh ride are new since then.

Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride is new. The pooh ride was there in Fall, 2000.

The Jammin' Jungle Parade at AK debuted in 2001.

The Backstage Pass walking tour at MGM is set to reopen shortly featuring items from the Haunted Mansion movie due out this winter.
