My lame computer keeps crashing everytime I get on the Disneyland website (grrrrrr). We really want to plan a trip early 2007, and I am curious as to what is new. New shows/parades/rides, etc? I have 3 little girls and of course they are into the whole princess thing. We went to the Storytime with Aladdin and Jasmine and heard it closed down -- anyone know if that is still the case? Do they still do the Princess storytime in the princess store in Fantasyland? Also, last time we were there the only restaurants accepting resevations were: Blue Bayou, Carnation Cafe, and Ariel's Grotto. Are there any more taking ressies yet? Sorry for all of the questions -- I need to upgrade to a new computer because it constanly crashes when I go to certain websites.
Thanks for your help -- I am a little obsessed about planning another trip!

We're going the second week of January and I can tell you I have learned about.

Starting January 3 they are offering Everyone Plays at Kids' Prices tickets through April 27th.

The princesses are no longer meeting/greeting in front of the castle and no longer offer story time in the princess shop. They now have Princess Fantasy Faire in the Fantasyland Theater area. I haven't heard great things about this new venue, but will check it out during our visit.

They are changing Space Mtn and Screamin' over to the "Rockin'" versions effective January 3. Same ride, just a new soundtrack.

The new version of Remember, Dreams Come True Fireworks will start the third week of January.

That's all I can think of now, except that Splash is going down for an extended refurb in January, and Mr. Toad will be down for a bit as well.

HTH!

You can also make advanced dining reservations for Cafe Orleans in Disneyland. It was made a table service restaurant last summer. Don't forget about table service places at the hotels, you can make reservations there as well. We love Storyteller's at the Grand Californian.

The Nemo Subs will be open in the summer and Pirates is scheduled for a refurb in the Spring. I've heard they are adding Will & Elizabeth and it will reopen around when the 3rd movie premiers (May).

Small World will also be down toward the end of January and Haunted Mansion will be down toward the beginning/middle of January each for a few weeks to remove the holiday decorations. Oooo and fantasmic won't be showing after the 14th of January until March.

We did the princess fantasy faire. It opened at 11, we got there around 10:40 and the line was long. Over an hour after opening, we got to see Aurora, Mulan and Snow White. They have a nice set up, with a photographer at each princess. I thought the line was for the show, but it was to meet princesses. The "royal walk" is the line to meet princesses...you don't need to do this to see the show. The princesses switched while we were there; Cinderella, Belle, and Jasmine came in to the photo area after their performance. After the show, there was storytime with Jasmine. They have coloring pages and crowns with stickers to decorate them with that we were told run out after the first hour. My DD is only 2, but she and DS liked the princess show. On our last trip we missed all the princesses as the lines kept getting closed, so this is a good option to guarantee meeting the princesses.

Storytime with Aladdin and Jasmine was running on weekends only.
