What's New? First Trip in 6 Years

Taking our second family trip to WDW. Last one was in 2006. DD now 12 and 9 (vs 6 and 3). We are staying at GF-last time was at Poly.


What's changed in 6 years? Looking for any information. I could be wrong but

1. Kids can no longer ride in front of monorail??
2. Many more restaurants require CC for ADR??
3. Dining plan is not the value it once was?? Tip no longer included?
3. New Fastpass policy??? Help.
4. Everything is more expensive!!!!

Anything else good ro bad?

#3- dining plan was offered in 2009

today is does not include appetizers or tips. It takes take care of taxes.

Depends on the person if its a value or not.

I mean it really doesnt save a huge chunk of change-- but for some people having it prepaid makes all the difference in the world
and then if you venture into a free dining-- thats a whole new world.

I suggest reading a few pages on the Parks board to see whats new and how it works

Not sure what you mean, the Dining Plan first came out in 2005. I had it on my 2005 and 2007 trips.
