What's new at DLR since last summer?

Planning a last minute trip in two weeks and don't have the time to read all the threads - (lazy, yes!) we were there last June, is anything new in DL or CA? Really appreciate any advice! Just Hubby & myself so we're open to pretty much anything!

Aside from the "Frozen" stuff, nothing has really changed. There should be some different entertainment. Big Thunder Mountain is back open after and extensive refurb. Alice In Wonderland just reopened from a much shorter refurb.

July 17 is Disneyland's 59th birthday. Not sure if you'll be there at that time or not. There's nothing big going on for that birthday, but they will launching a new tour at DCA on that day, and they will be making some announcements regarding next year's 60t anniversary.

Thanks, Fantaluminishes - yeah, we'll be there through Friday. We were there for the 50th and that was WILD! Having breakfast at Carnation Cafe and then we're headed for CA so that will be perfect. Have fun on your trip!

DH and I will be in DLR on 7/8 (going without the kiddos :goodvibes), the last time we were there was last June (with the kiddos) and Big Thunder was down for refurbishment. I am so excited that we will finally be able to ride this ride, I was so bummed that we couldn't when we were there last year.

Boston - that's a bummer! Really GONE not just moved around like before? Who's in the Golden Horseshoe now? That's one of our "must do" things!

They are over at Knott's Berry Farm now under a different name.

And they are better than ever! Their show is longer, has a wider variety and is less scripted. We watched them twice when we were there. All three shows each day are different.

Thanks for that info - we may trim a day off DLR and head over to Knott's - been about 10 years since we've been there.
