Hi everyone,

I remember reading about this when the policy was enacted, but I forget now;
How long after your ADR time will a restaurant hold your table before they cancel it/charge the $10/person fee?

I honestly think it depends on how busy the restaurant is. I have heard that as long as you show up sometime that day they won't charge you the no show fee. But I have also been told that they were about to give our table away the one time we were late to an ADR (stupid taxi didn't show up).

Why are you asking? Do you have an ADR booked that you are stressing about getting to on time? Or just for general knowledge? The best thing is to not be late. Especially for a popular ADR where getting squeezed in later if you miss your time slot is not a sure thing. If you are really late they don't have to seat you.

Generally the grace period is about 15-20 minutes, but it all depends on the CM and how busy the restaurant is at the time.
