What's May half term like?

I'm wondering if anyone has been in May half term before, and if so could you please tell me what the crowds and weather are like? Mid week that is.

May half term will be quite busy and the weather will probably be the same as it is here. We're going then.

oh no will it really be busy? grrr!
i don't know why i thought it would be quiet though lol!
i really don't know when we should go then. I just hate crowds ad long queues.

Any school holiday will be busy. But it should still be very manageable.

yeah i was reading over some old my TRs and everyone seemed to manage quite a bit still, so maybe I won't let it put me off, but still twisting hubbys arm about it all-he will succumb to my wishes! lol

We are planning to take a week off for the first bank holiday in May (at the beginning in month), driving through France and doing Disney Tuesday to Friday. Has anybody else been at this time, or would be able to advise how busy the park might be after the actual bank holiday Sat-Mon?

I think there will be queues whenever you go, and more so in school holidays. The warmer the predicted weather, the busier it will be. I think February is the quietest school holiday as there are no special seasons then (like Halloween in October half term) and the weather is poor.

We will be there then too. It is also a bank holiday week in the UK. The good news is that I think it is really only the UK that has that week off (unlike October, Christmas, Summer and Easter when virtually everyone has the time off across Europe).

Tips are - use EMH (do not sleep in) and enjoy a table service meal for lunch.
