3 days to go and I am weather watching now. It seems we are going to get wet everyday we are their.

So whats it like if it rains all day / night at Disneyland Paris.

We previously been in the spring and got no rain.

I was expecting it to be quite warm and planning only shorts and tops. Got some ponchos for the kids.

Whatever the weather I hope you have a great trip :goodvibes
One thing I will say is that if it is pouring throw on the ponchos and ignore the rain. We sat for ages outside on a porch in Frontierland waiting to the rain to ease off instead of buying ponchos and just going for it :upsidedow

We went last August for 3 days and it rained solid for 2 full days :umbrella:

we took our waterproof jackets with us and thought that was ok but after a while it was evident they may say rainproof but not actual waterproof lol we went and bought the rain poncho from the disney shop and they are expensive! well there was 5 of us my advice would be buy them before you go ive see then about like £1 each in the uk (asda) i'm not completely sure but i think they were E9 in disney each! Anyway even me and my husband wore them we had a good giggle about looking like an idiot in a poncho but we were dry :lmao:
I cant be sure but everything that we went to do on those days were still all open even a cars and stars parade.

We had heavy rain and thunder Tuesday it was horrible! We had ponchos still got wet, my jeans were wet upto my knees. It really spoilt the mood.

Ponchos are 9 euros for an adult and kids I think were 7 euros. If its wet stars n cars wont do the show as its too slippery for the characters we had it cancelled on 2 occasions over our trips.

I do hate it when the bottom of your jeans get soaked and the water creeps up your legs. When its raining heavily and you're walking around DLP, roll your trouser legs up just a couple of turn-ups will do - stops the water getting at the bottom of your jeans and then creeping up (I even did that in November - not a particularly cool look with my thermal socks and walking shoes, but I didn't care :rotfl:).

Sorry about getting soaked-not fun! We are going in August-is that a rainy part of the year for France? I too have been checking the weather but feel that we can get by with similiar clothes to WDW in Florida (ie. shorts, t-shirts, sneakers/trainers). I have 2 Disney ponchos that we bought at WDW a few years ago when we stayed at the Wilderness Cabins-we stayed dry but they are so hot. Is the weather like Florida steamy summer weather or just plain hot?
Thanks-Elizabeth

Our last November trip was heavy rain every day. We tried to soldier on as best as we could trying not to let it beat us although i must say riding BTM in the dark and rain was hilarious.... so funny tring to keep your hood up and the force from the ride blowing it down.
They do sell at dlp wellies for adults they are quite cool they are black and white with lots of mickey faces over them but are 30E :scared1: they did have them still on our last trip a couple of weeks ago.
I wore leggings everyday so i could tuck them into my boots so they did not drag on the floor so the water did not rise up them which was great if your a lady. My dh wore the jeans that are tighter fit on the bottom that also just rest in the boots (hope that made sense).

Hope you have fun whatever the weather

I went last November, and it hardly stopped raining. I folded my jeans up and used safety pins to keep them above the ground, DD wore a Disney rain coat (not poncho) and wellies, and I wore good trainers and stayed dry. I also had a raincoat from milletts and my advice would be to read the inside as there are different gages of waterproofing, 5000 is a good one, ours was only 2000 but did the job.

I've also been in July and it rained with torrential thunderstorms over night (leaving the ground soaking wet) but it was boiling (34c!) so with vest tops and ponchos to the read, we sweated out bits off! But at least the rides were dry to sit on, unlike November where is you wasn't covering your bottom.....oh boy!!

I'm going in late august this time around and am hoping that maybe this trip will not involve rain....NYE 2008 I had snow/ice/rain, July 2009 boiling temps and rain, Nov 2010 HEAVY rain but not too bad temp wise (easy to cope with a coat on!) August 2011.....anything goes, but please, just a bit of warm sun will do :lmao:

Haven't be to Florida yet but the weather in Disney region of France tend to usually be hot enough for shorts & t-shirts, you may encounter showers but that could happen anywhere
