What's In YOUR Trunk?

It's actually so if for whatever reason I need to change my own tire, or fix something, I could put the nuts and bolts thingies in they Jar so I don't lose them.

Reminds me of Ralphy and the Hub Cap.. Ohhhhh Ffffuuuddddddggggeeee
:rotfl:

sorry to disappoint you :rotfl2:

(heavy sigh) and another cherished illusion bites the dust. :rotfl:

You think too much like me and sometimes it's spooky. :thumbsup2

Ya might also want to stash a little cash for emergency purposes. Sometimes Bubba's wrecking service won't accept VISA or AMEX.

I thought I was supposed to stash that in my bra.:confused3 :rotfl2:

I have an SUV so techincally no trunk- but I do have a set of jumper cables, large sheet of plastic, and bungee cords.

Nah, that can't be it...too boring! We must come up with some other function for it, would you really want to be responsible for shattering LB's cherished illusion??

When my dad was alive, he was ALWAYS sticking extra stuff in my car! He'd randomly slip in an ice scraper... in June ;)

Now my trunk has some bottles of water, a couple of dance costumes that I threw in after a performance and keep forgetting to take out, shoes, I think there's a sweatshirt... actually, I'm not entirely sure what all is in there! May be time to clean it out!

I have to ask....what's the big plan with the large sheet of plastic?

Need those and the bungee cords in case DH really p's me off. :lmao:

JK-- I put the plastic down on the back when I pick up pine straw or something that may mess up the carpet in the back.

Don't worry, you can borrow my shovel. ;)

Emergency roadside kit, a roll of red reflective tape, blanket and the rubber piece that is supposed to go on the bottom edge of the bumper. We kept getting it caught on those concrete things in parking spaces and just pulled it off.

Nothing. Unless I just went to the store for something, it's always empty (other than the spare tire and jack, of course).

We need to start lending out our Extra stuff
Who needs some Junk in your Trunk ?

The minivan is now referred to as my "locker". In the back end of the locker you will find

Pull-ups (Kid sized - I am not training for any space missions or kidnappings)
Wipes
Goldfish Crackers
Salerno Butter Cookies
Bottled Water (currently thawing out again)
Road safety kit
First aid kit
Plastic bins to hold all the crap
Small carpet scraps (my husband carpeted my brand new minivan to protect the actual carpet that came in my brand new minivan. He is weird but handy that way)

I hate it when anyone cleans my locker but me. I have a full inventory in my head at all times.

and an empty Jar.. don't ask !! :lmao:
We have an empty coffee can (thankfully, unused as of this date :)) that we called the "pee can" which has evolved into "the p'con", said with an air of class and sophistication. :)

Other than that...it's a minivan and I'll have to wait until the Spring thaw, when it's warmer out, to look back there. Nothing smells funny tho. ;)
